Gov Steve Chiongbian Solon just came from Gumasa, and it was - TopicsExpress

Gov Steve Chiongbian Solon just came from Gumasa, and it was raining so hard today. So here is the most recent picture. Those who are writing negative stories about SARBAY FEST 2014 please take a look. The debris you see are natural from the coconut trees of Gumasa, Glan. The Coastal Clean Up was a success and the Bay is in its natural state. Also, I have to say, you writers did alarm DENR. Yep, they came today too and investigated. And guess what??? They had nothing to say because they saw no garbage! If you think you are angry by what you saw on photos before the Clean Up... Imagine us, from Sarangani, how upset we are? We are more UPSET. We however, did not go publicly declaring dirty laundry. Instead we continued to Clean Up. Airing public complaints without giving any contribution of time, money, real acts of solving the problems is meaningless. You want to complain and you mean what you say -- we are accepting cash donations or your volunteer work in the following activities: 1. Coastal Clean Ups 2. Mangrove Planting 3. Monitoring of the Reefs and Crown of thorns pick ups (for divers) 4. Deployment of Artificial reefs in areas that are needing assistance 5. Supporting the Turtle Sanctuaries of Sarangani. PS. It does not mean we are not listening or noting your concerns. I know many of you meant well. We are taking notes and are ready to improve for next year. Yes toilets/portalets, showers, bigger trash bins, are on top of our list! TO ALL OUR FRIENDS & CONCERNED SARBAYFEST CITIZENS. PLEASE SPREAD the LOVE.
