Government has expressed happiness with road construction works on various projects on the Copperbelt. Acting president Dr. Guy Scott was on the Copperbelt today for the inspection of government developmental projects. Dr. Scott landed aboard a chopper in Kitwe and inspected Ndeke village hospital, the Kitwe-Chingola dual carriage way, Kalulushi/Sabina Road, Chibuluma/Lufwanyama road and the Kantolomba Bridge in Ndola. He was accompanied by minister of Youth and Sport, Chishimba Kambwili, and his Agriculture counterpart Wilbur Simuusa, and other dignitaries from within the Copperbelt such as the permanent secretary rev. Howard Sikwela and Kitwe, Ndola, Lufwanyama district commissioners among others. Dr. Scott said he was impressed with the road works done on the Kalulushi/Sabina road which is a stretch of 30.1 kilometers and constructed by china Geo. Dr. Scott cut his inspections for today and flew to Ndola aboard the state chopper where he boarded the presidential jet for Lusaka, for other commitments but is expected be back on the Copperbelt on Friday, January 2, 2015 to finish off the inspections.
