Government of Jammu and Kashmir SERVICES SELECTION BOARD HOTEL ZUM ZUM RAMBAGH SRINAGAR *** /jkssb.nic.in/ SUB: Notification regarding syllabi for objective type written test. The Government issued SRO 342 of 2013 dated 22.7.2013 whereunder some amendments have been made in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Rules, 2010, and the Board is required to hold a written test for all the eligible candidates who apply for the advertised posts. Accordingly, the Board has framed the syllabi for conducting the objective type written test for the posts where the basic qualification is 10+2 and Matric. As such the syllabi are hereby notified for the information of all the aspirant candidates. Further, it is pertinent to mention that there will be an objective type written test for all the eligible candidate who apply in response to various advertisement notification issued by the Board. The number of candidates to be called for viva-voce shall not be less than three times and more than five times the number of vacancies to be filled up. The final selection shall be made by the Board on the basis of marks/points obtained in viva-voce added to the marks/points obtained in the written test plus the weightage, if any, provided for higher/additional/special qualification (on pro-rata basis). However, the syllabi earlier notified by the Board from time to time for screening test as well as objective type written test, shall be treated to have been withdrawn. The syllabus for other categories of posts will be published separately. The syllabi so published will also be available on the official website of the Board.
