Special voting, done at least 16 days before the ordinary polling day, allows people who will be on elections duty to cast their ballot in advance. Addressing journalists in Harare this morning, Zec chairperson Justice Rita Makarau also said the 30 day voter registration and voters roll inspection that started last month ends tomorrow. “The voters roll closes on Wednesday and any persons who register after that will not be able to elect incoming candidates at all levels. They will remain on the voters roll but for future purposes,” she said.
