Governor Clement Wani Konga was put under duress by security to make a statement about equatorian citizens and rebels. Paul Malong gave security personnel an odd instruction to go and have Central Equatorian Governor Clement Wani Konga to make an statement that will stop intermittent fighting inside juba. Paul Malong Awan warned Gov. Konga to cooperate with security otherwise he (Konga) might be considered as rebel sympathizer. On the radio, Gov. Konga asked equatorian citizens to stop violence and asked Dr. Machar to negotiate in peace with national government. Actually, he complied with order only under duress to come out with that statement.
