Govt deserves complements for conferring Bharata Ratna to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya . Both served India with great distinction. Vajpayees greatest moment perhaps was when his govt fell by one vote in1999.His conduct was impeccable despite the high stakes. In 99, not one MPs vote was bought. And Giridhar Gomang, Orissa CM and still MP, was allowed to vote against govt! Govt lost by 1 vote.Vajpayee calmly accepted the LS verdict, resigned, went to polls, & came back triumphantly. Crisis tests greatness as nothing else does. Indian nation has been built by many strands. We need to recognize their contribution. PVN too was ignored by UPA. He deserves the honour. We should learn to celebrate our great nation builders beyond caste, religion & language. Bickering & hatred must give way to harmony.
