Govt warns MPs of travel abroad AS Parliamentarians appraise their performance for the first time since they started work in 2011, the Executive has told the legislators to cut on their travel to avoid inconveniencing host countries. “Quite a number of parliaments are tired of us as Parliament of Uganda. It will be better for us as Parliament to schedule these travels,” Government Chief Whip, Kasule Lumumba said Tuesday. Lumumba, who was responding to issues raised by MPs during the appraisal, warned that other Parliaments were tired of the incessant travels by the legislators. She declined to name the parliaments for diplomatic reasons. Whats your say?
