*****Grading Etiquette***** After todays grading and discussion - TopicsExpress

*****Grading Etiquette***** After todays grading and discussion with the other instructors, we are disappointed in some of the etiquette shown at the gradings. Taken from he TAGB handbook i would like to highlight some of the things we will be enforcing..... • REMEMBER THE GRADING IS FOR THE STUDENTS. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO WATCH IN SUPPORT OF THE STUDENTS. • The grading duration is normally 2-4 hours. It is recommended that if you start the grading you should be at the end of the grading. • To be able to grade you must have a Grading form from you Instructor. Returning of that form means you accept the “test” and the grading etiquette. • You must be in possession of a TAGB licence and white TAGB uniform. • Anyone with long hair “MUST” have it tied back and away from their face. • When being addressed by a senior grade, they should be addressed by “Mr …. Or Miss…. Or Mrs…..”. Alternatively, “Sir” or “Ma’am”. • There are “NO” electronic devices allowed while a grading is in progress. Especially for students as it deflects from the focus needed to grade. • Absolutely “NO” noise while a grading is in progress. It is unfair on the students grading, as it is difficult enough to grade, never mind with excess noise. Anyone making excess noise will be asked to leave the grading. • “NO” Jewellery - That includes studs, rings, friendship bracelets, watches, necklaces worn on your head or body.
