Grand Avenue Theater in Belton will be adding “Sensory Friendly Movies” to their $1.00 Thursday movies starting on July 18th. They will open a separate theater each week specifically for children with special needs and their families. The movies will start at 9:30am so that families can beat the crowd, avoid lines, and get snacks before the other $1.00 movies start at 10:00am. Movies (9:30am): July 18th-Rio July 25th- Horton Hears a Who August 1st- Space Jam August 8th- Madagascar 3 August 15th-Hotel Transylvania Movies will cost $1.00 per person, but concessions are regular price. There is no early registration, but it’s first come first serve….so when it’s sold out…it’s sold out.
