Granny was so much more to me than grandmother . She helped me get on my feet when I got divorced. She helped me through nursing school. Watched my kids so I could go to school. When I felt I couldnt go to my parents (as most kids do) I could always go to granny. She has always been there....not just for me but everyone. She never met a stranger. She was granny to everyone. Today has been so long and difficult the future a whole new adjustment without her. Everyone who knew her now has a void. I also want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We are all at peace knowing her final moments were peaceful and easy. She loved her children, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren dearly. Would have laid down her life for any of us. The world is a sadder place as of 4:24 this morning. A great thanks to each of you for your kind words through this terrible time.
