This is your opportunity to meet Officer Derek Frank & Stan Laverman/Housing & Inspection Services. Officer Derek is a long-time Iowa City police officer who has recently been assigned as Neighborhood Response Officer. Officer Derek’s priority is Neighborhood Stabilization. He will be working closely with Iowa City Neighborhood Services, Housing & Inspection Services, landlords, tenants, neighborhood residents and neighborhood associations. Derek will explain more about his work as well as address your questions and concerns. Part of how we create a safe and positive neighborhood is to be informed, involved and proactive.
