Former Morrisville, NC mayor Jackie Holcombe pushed for New York-style gun control in North Carolina and paid the appropriate price. As you will recall, Holcombe missed no opportunity to attack gun rights during her brief career as Mayor. Not only did she flout state law by banning lawful carry in parks and push Gander Mountain to stop the sale of modern sporting rifles in their Morrisville location, but she also prominently supported the Obama/Biden/Feinstein federal gun ban effort. Holcombe was an active member of New York mayor Bloombergs anti-gun MAIG organization, infamous for including criminals in its rolls. Her MAIG support included speaking at the NC installment of their poorly-attended “bus tour” where she participated in memorializing “victims of gun violence” that included cop killers, criminals justifiably killed during commission of violent crimes, and even terrorists including the Boston bombers. Holcombe more than earned the defeat that YOU the active members of GRNC and supporters of the GRNC Political Victory Fund (GRNC-PVF) provided her. Her demise will serve as a clear warning to other would-be anti-freedom politicians that gun control will not be tolerated in North Carolina.
