Grass is always greener on the other side - A talk on Dreams, - TopicsExpress

Grass is always greener on the other side - A talk on Dreams, Growth & Development Every individual is unique, well not only by the biological parameters but also in regards to knowledge, skills, interest, capabilities and desire level. But one thing that remains same across the Earths latitude and longitude is A Comfortable Living. Some persons do work hard and try to put all the available resources in place to build their dreams into reality step by step and others just keep dreaming and relate it to luck and fate for their own satisfaction and other obvious reasons. So its up to you where you want to be and see your self 5 - 10 -15 years down the line. Life is a complex thing and its complexity adds on when we belong to a developing nation. There are many factors and reasons which will obviously not work the way we planned or thought about. But the only thing that should always remain with us even during our downs is extreme hard work and constant determination to move up and up and up. If you belong from a financially stable family and has attained a certain level of education then do understand the value of education and work hard to come up and shine. Remember that 30% of our population are living below the poverty line or marginally above Tendulkars parameter. Many of them are tribal, backward, illiterate by compulsion not by choice as their traditions may not allow education of a girl child, lack of proper educational facility from reachable distance from their dwelling places. So for them coming up is thousand times more difficult as compared to us. We all enjoy the stardom of Sharukh Khan and his movies, we all relate to the soulful music of A.R. Rahman, we still miss those sensational cover drive of Sachin, but we generally ignore the hours of hard work and determination they are putting up in back end, which makes them what they are. I started by saying grass is always greener on the other side. What I feel, it is always good to look at the next level when we reach a certain level. But what I dislike is when people start talking negative about the same profile which they were dreaming only yesterday. For example, Ramu put in a lot of effort for a seat in a Nationalised Bank but its very sad to see when he get his job he starts abusing the system, work pressure, union, low salary, long working hour etc. Remember that this particular profile and salary was gigantic for Ramu, a few months back when he was an aspirant. But on a positive note, do look for becoming a Scale 2 Officer as quick as possible when you land up as a Scale 1 Officer. Though the equation always continues as it is difficult to find a grass which is ultimately green for a dynamic, careeristic youth of modern day era. There is nothing bad, rather it is very good and a positive thing when we are focused and always looking up and up and up. I wish all the aspirants of IBPS SO and candidates of IBPS Interview. Give your best and go get your grass. Join https://facebook/groups/582674021820836/ for more updates
