Gratitude Challenge: Day 2 I missed yesterday because it had stuff to do. But here we go: 1. I am so very thankful for reconnecting with old friends. Especially Diane Cozza Zeltner who helped me with an issue with my sons school. As much as her excellent advice and thorough knowledge of the issue it was a blessing just being able to talk to someone about it and allay my fears. Thanks, Diane! You were so very kind. 2. Related to the above, I am grateful for and consistently amazed by others I knew long ago who have sent me messages of support and advice. Its a beautiful thing when people I have neither seen nor spoken with in 25-30 years message me to offer prayers, kindness, and understanding. Including, but not limited to, Peter Yatcilla, Trish Colaberdino Pisauro, Cathy Brown Schulz, Monica Etschman Ash, Alexandria Pakyz Zaffino, Ron Dalessio, Tara Brown, Beth Szymkowski, and Leanne Dambra Angelone, A.R. Davis, Carrie Shepherd. Its still too early for my brain to function so if I left anyone out its unintentional. 3. Im grateful to my Aunt Jeanne Regan White for posting the beautiful photo of my mother and Uncle Roger. Her talent shines in her ability to capture that moment of love, joy, and happiness I see in their faces. It reveals part of the best of who my mom was as a person. 4. Im grateful to my Uncle Bill Leifholtz and all the the others who responded to a question regarding my sons baptism. 5. Finally, I am grateful for all the Newsvine people on FB. You all remain some of the best, brightest, and kindest people I know. And, damn, yall are funny! Walter Dziedzic, Robin Vabolis, Viki Julian Gonia, Clifton Bertram, Eric Schwing, Dennis P. McCann, Rebecca Yarowsky, Norma Briggs, Scott Butki, Hugo Gonzalez--there are too many of you list. All yall definitely made me smarter.
