Gratitude Project, Day #83, Dicky Walia: I marvel at individuals with the ability to start over, and Dicky, like so many people after the market crash, had to rebuild his business life in a big way. Its disingenuous to say that he started over.. He never seemed depressed as his real estate deals collapsed. He still smiled, and laughed, in part because I believe he embodied perspective. Either that or one hell of a poker face, but Im going to go with perspective, because I believe he realized what was important--family over deals, health over dollars, and an appreciation of what he had and not what hed lost. Thank Dicky for being such a great example to entrepreneurs.
