Gratitude September 2, 2014 The blessing of sight. John 9:39 39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. This day, I am grateful for being able to see what is around me. I know some can not and wish they could. Regardless, they have been able to achieve so much in spite of their disability and for them I give God the glory. Many times, they inspire me. They do see... though through a different kind of visibility. So I thank God for these friends of mine who look forward to that day when the eyes of the blind shall be opened. Here now, they live with hope, just like you and me. Only that unlike us, they can not see. Today, I thank God that all of us can see through our minds eye, Gods glory through His sons sacrifice on Calvary and though I have eyes that see, I am more grateful for a heart that perceived the need for repentance just the same way my blind sisters and brothers did. I am grateful that I have seen and understand the greatness of Jesus and His sacrifice. Something that so many with seeing eyes have been unable to perceive yet others without natural sight are able to glean. Olufunke Bolanle Oluwaseun, what are you thankful for today?
