It’s so easy to be thankful for the air we breathe inside of us, especially when being aware of our breath. The Water we DrinkOur bodies depend on water, studies have shown that water has memory and it can remember all the good emotions and feelings you put towards it. Why not utilize this miracle and say thank you for every glass of water you are able to consume? The Fire we Lit In the old times, there were no ovens of any kind. Eyesight Our mirrors to the outer world, our eyes. Some people forget about this incredible blessing, because not all of us are able to see properly or see at all. The Ability to Touch, Feel Picking up objects, using your hands to put together a great family meal. Be grateful for the gift of hands, the gift of feeling all that you touch. ClothingIn the old days, walking around with intimate parts covered in leaves was a norm. These days we use clothe of all kinds to cover ourselves. Clothes gives us comfort and heat when we need it the most. Next time you put your shoes on, be thankful for all the life events that had to occur, for you to be able to wear them. Dreams The brain never sleeps. Our body might be resting, but the dreams are still running wild trough our brain. Why not thank The Universe for blessing us with the ability to dream? Soap Bubbles Food The most used source of energy for the humanity, food. Everything we consume has had to travel from different places around the world, to end up on our plates. Even for vegetarians who like to treat themselves to a special type of veg. Be mindful and grateful for all that You eat, taste it as much as you can. Books Many of spiritual awakenings follow a similar pattern, the urge to find the perfect book that will give answers to all of life’s questions. Although such books exist, it usually takes a lifetime to understand them. Books are wonderful, and every time we pick up a new book we should be grateful for the contents within it. Trees, Flowers, Plants These lovely beings are all around us. Everywhere we go, there is a plant of some kind next to us, plants gives us clean air to breathe, let’s be thankful for that! And let us pray for the exotic forests in places like Amazon, there is deforestation happening in amounts never seen before, together we can put an end to it. Cars They do help us get to work quicker. The Sun, The Moon Sometimes the most crucial, yet obvious things in our life go past our awareness without us even knowing. Sun who gives us heat and light trough the day, and the Moon who shines at night to show us sight. Bicycles Cars help us get to work, bicycles do too! Not only that, bicycles helps us stay in shape and are a great way to explore areas together with friends. Consciousness Every time we become aware of being present, we can say a little “Thank You!” as a means of great joy. There is nothing like being present and enjoying the moment. Hard work and dedication is required to achieve longer periods of bliss. Music Music is such a great way to express our feelings. There are so many genres of music, which can alter our mood at any given life situation. A wonderful healing tool. Waking Up Every morning we wake up to a new day, it’s so easy and relaxing to thank for another day in paradise. Going to Sleep Just like with mornings, when we reach the end of our day, we can say thank you for all that we had experienced trough the day. Love Love is like the fuel of life. Where there is love, there is happiness and joy. Enjoy love, and try to bring it in your life as often as possible. Job Although unusual, it is possible to have a healthy lifestyle without having a job. But that is not the case for most of us. We need a job to support ourselves and our families. We should be grateful for having the opportunity to earn a living, since many people don’t. Learning Even now, while reading this, we are learning. This is why it is called the school of life, literally. Challenges Challenge in life is fun, sometimes frightening, but in the end it was just another page of instructions that help us grow. Projects, Goals The ability to set goals and projects for ourselves is exciting.
