Gratitude challenge Day 2 1. A sky full of stars. Not the Coldplay song (OK, but not a patch on Clocks), but one of the benefits of living in the back of beyond: on a clear summer night, stepping outside to gaze at the immense twinkling tapestry. And feeling the true meaning of the word awesome. 2. Music. It has that magical ability to change, or deepen, a mood; to highlight an aspect of experience; or sometimes just a good beat to get me dancing (and how would I ever speak without lyrics to quote? ;-) ). 3. Today I am grateful that DD is something of a tomboy. So that, although we are compelled to enter the Build a Bear Workshop, we can leave with just a pleasant little dog, and be spared the unspeakable horror that lurks in the window: a roller skating, tutu-wearing My Little Pony...
