Gratitude, final day 5. Today, I am grateful for: 1) The fact that I live within walking distance of a locally-owned grocery store that stocks lots of delicious, colorful, organic and/or wholesome foods. Also, that I can afford to do most of my shopping there. 2) My neighborhood, which is filled with dozens of people who have become friends. It really IS a place where youll be interrupted multiple times by friendly faces saying hi while doing yard work in the front yard, where you know youll be able to find someone who can urgently loan you some ingredient when youre halfway through a recipe, and where you can go for an evening walk with your kid and be pretty confident youll stumble upon some willing playmates. We feel so lucky to be here!! 3) That it wasnt very hard for me to come up with 15 things to be grateful for. I dont have much to complain about, and for that I am very grateful. And now, Ill go back to quietly being grateful about these things on my own. :)
