Gravity 3D. You didnt think wed come to Orlando and miss out on a US cinema visit did you? Weve been itching to see this for months and the early reviews suggested it was worth the wait. Best space film of all time? Thats a bold statement from James Cameron but a definite and very credible seal of approval nonetheless. Its essentially Sandra Bullock playing a spacewalking scientist astronaut marooned in space, with George Clooneys character making a chirpy and motivational appearance from time to time. This is not your usual space adventure, nor is it a space action epic. Instead we have a surprisingly personal and sometimes moving space thriller. Its also most definitely exciting, often claustrophobic and physically draining yet hugely enjoyable. A huge part of the film plays on the often ridiculously ignored fact that sound does not travel in space. You wont believe how unsettling that concept is until you see some of the action sequences here. Very clever and innovative direction and cinematography on display here and a film we highly recommend you see on the big screen in 3D.
