Great Comments of appreciation from administrator of facebook group- Foodies in Bangalore on the recent most International Food Festival of IIHM Bangalore - Zest Fest !! Very very supporting !! Hi IIHM Team, We were a couple of friends who attended the Zest Fest organized by the students of IIHM on the 12th of December. We planned to try the different styles of cuisine and see how well the students were faring in the practicals! The whole venue was set up very well, and the reception area was manned by a couple of smartly dressed students, who were courteous and quick to process our tickets and let us into the venue, while briefly explain the concept of the fest. The venue itself was full of different world cuisines - including American, Mexican, Mediterranean etc, with a live grill counter and a huge spread of desserts. Each counter was spaced adequately and had a couple of students who were able to explain the details of the cuisine on offer. We sampled the fare from multiple counters and found everything delicious and offering a good glimpse into the food and culture of different parts of the world. I especially enjoyed the Mediterranean counters with the live shawarma being served - and the pita/ falafel combos. The rains ruined our plans to partake from the dessert counter, as that had to be cleared away to prevent everything getting drenched. Please pass on my congratulations to the students for pulling off a grand event, and satisfying even the most discerning of foodies :). Look forward to your next such event...
