Great News! Fr. Tim, Senior Warden Carol Place and Deacon Wendy Rozene presented updates to our building plans before the Diocesan Standing Committee for final review of the Episcopal Church Building Fund loan. The Standing Committee recommended to Bishop Stephen Lane their approval of the loan with one amendment to the letter of agreement between St. Anns and the Diocese of Maine. Once the documents are signed by the Bishop, Fr. Tim and Carol they will be submitted to ECBF. This should take place pretty quickly! The Vestry would like to thank Brian Butler and the Building Committee for their hard work over the last few weeks as they get the building plans and Request for Proposals prepared to send out to three general contractors for the bidding process. Brian hopes to have the RFP out to the bidders approximately 3/28, due back three weeks after that, with an on-site pre-bid meeting (about April 2nd or 3rd). Goal is to have a contractor selected by the building committee and approved by the Vestry before 5/7 Be watching for updated floor plans that were presented to your vestry in the Narthex next Sunday!
