THE LITTLE DUDES ADOPTION STORY (as related by his loving family): On a hot day in July of 2012, my husband and I went to shop at Ozark Natural Foods in Fayetteville. Some volunteers from the Madison County Pet Shelter were there in front of the store with a few dogs. There in a little enclosure we saw a tiny little brown chihuahua with a bunch of puppies that were about twice his size. I picked him up and fell in love. We adopted him on the spot, took him home, and found that he was the typical Chi -- a big dog in a tiny, little body. Out in the backyard, hell run and jump and wrestle with the bigger dogs. But inside, he loves to cuddle and snuggle. Yes, we adore him. The Little Dude abides.
