Great! Now that Ive got your attention. (mwahahaha) Writing has eluded me a bit these last few months, pushing me even further behind when I intended to try to have TSoS finished. However, today I wrote stuff! Yes a whole... 126 words. :/ The following is what I wrote, preceded by the last bit I wrote months ago, just for sense-making purposes. **“You’ve seen how little space there is in here, right?” Hahn nodded. “Those things may follow us in, but theyll be as restricted as we are. Could you attack a man with your daggers in here?” Hahn looked affronted. “Of course! I could attack a man with my daggers anywhere.” Marcus sighed. “You’re missing the point. This… forest.” He grasped one of the strange, spongy offshoots and studied it quizzically. “…Or whatever it is, will provide cover. Perhaps long enough for those things to get bored and go home – wherever that may be.” “Fair enough. Then let us utilise this place as best we can. I suggest moving further in.” With that, Hahn slipped his lithe body between two plants and instantly disappeared from sight. Marcus paused to consider trying to locate the others, but quickly realised the futility of any such task. He’d already ‘lost’ the prince, even though he’d seen the direction in which he’d left. Thinking of Erryn, he made a silent wish that she’d also escaped into the undergrowth, before forcing his own wider frame through the vegetation.**
