Great Spark! Love David A2J Hi there, I wanted to share a fantastic story that happened while I was working yesterday. I work at a Starbucks near Boston, we have the most lovely lady who has worked there for over 15 years. She never complains, works hard, and is so giving. She had this car that broke down, after spending hundreds to fix it, leaving her with no vehicle coming into winter. Someone found out and had given her a newer vehicle!! Yay!! She found out it would be about $400 to register it though. She kept positive though and said shed just have to do it in a few months, but she doesnt mind walking to work. (At 4am, in winter, in Boston..no way!!) A customer was listening to us talking about it, I mentioned to her how I wish I could start a donation account to help her out, I just dont know how Id tell people. This lady started digging in her purse (I thought maybe looking for a business card and she was gonna help me). Nope, she pulled out an envelope, and said Im going to give you $400, will you give it to her for her registration please. It was the best thing I have ever personally witnessed!! It took some convincing for my coworker to keep it, but she finally did and Im looking forward to seeing her new wheels this week! She plans to pay it forward by donating to the gift tree thats set up at our store.
