Great Spark Love David I do home health and grocery shop for clients quite regularly, so I am in and out of a bunch of different stores like crazy. A lot of the time I have a huge list with some hard to find items and spend half the trip wandering through the store. Whenever I almost smack into someone going around an aisle or am standing somewhere too long and strike up a conversation with someone, it makes me feel better that they can spare those few seconds of kindness to me. So whenever I have a little extra money, I try and repay the kindness. I will wait until the person gets in line to checkout. Then I find a manager or an employee and Ill give them 10-20 dollars. I ask the manager to just go put the money towards that persons total bill. Totally anonymous and I get to watch the gratefulness of the person! The last time I did this was at Food City, and the manager came up to me afterwords and said that the woman was overjoyed and now had the little bit extra she needed to pay her electric bill. The manager and the employee working checkout were both moved by my action. I hope that in doing this once a month, those 2-3 people affected by this little kindness will spread it around until helping your neighbor becomes the norm again :)
