Great Spark Love David I have struggled with exactly that dichotomy: not wanting to be prideful about my acts of loving kindness but wanting to encourage others. I will take your advice and tell you some sparks of my own. I have horse property in the mountains here locally that I started renting to a nice young family a year ago when I moved to the city. He suffered a shoulder injury that prevented him from working and has ultimately needed surgery. His disability was late in arriving and has been a stop and start thing especially when the surgery was scheduled. Family paid most of their rent for the first 2 months he was off work but couldn’t keep doing that. I got an unexpected bonus at work so I gave them this month’s rent free. (their rent covers a little over 2/3 of the mortgage payment on the property). With that same bonus I was finally able to donate to your foundation, give money to my pastor and his wife for personal things they couldn’t afford, and buy my niece the only baby carrier (front pack) that would fit both her and her husband so she could finally get the baby soothed and get some things done at home without baby fussing.
