Great advice we got today on Healthy Beauty: If you feel down or anxious in the fall and winter months, you could be like a lot of people who are affected by seasonal affective disorder. To feel better, Dr. Robert Levitan of Univ. of Toronto recommends getting as much natural sunlight as possible and consider getting a special light for seasonal depression. These are much brighter than regular lights. Look for one with UV-filtered light to protect yourself from harmful UV radiation and use it in the morning for 30 minutes every day.
