Great appointment with Dr. Hoogland, my rheumatologist, this morning. Best of all, I drove all the way from home to her office at Cheat Lake and back home again. Quite a feat, havent driven that far in two or three months. Doing pretty well. Have a UTI now so am on antibiotics for that and cant have the methotrexate while I am on an antibiotic but can resume methotrexate on the following Saturday, reduce the Prednisone by 1 mg. and increase the Methotrexate by 1 pill. Slow procedure getting off the prednisone but we are working on it. Been a lot of set backs with me being in and out of the hospital so much. Ben went along with me and carried my pocketbook because Dr. Hoogland told me last time that my portable oxygen was too heavy and so was my purse. Really dont feel like I can afford to hire someone to carry my load and I hired Ben for free. Debbie was my carrier before. Oh, yes, I have lost another 5 lbs. Not much but it is progress. Long way to go on that one though. Back to Grafton, went to GCH for bloodwork then over to Gumps Shop N Save for hotdogs for lunch. If you are over there notice above the pay phone outside there are 2 electrical outlets. Mother Nature had given Betty a lovely bouquet on top of one of the outlets. Too cute. Well, gotta catch up with the farm then I think we will go to Jerrys for dinner this evening.
