Great article. Sadly though, some of us have had to accept and share our post baby bodies with the world with no baby to cuddle or lift out of the crib. I remember a friend coming to see me after Asher was born, she actually said, wow Im so jealous! Your tummy is already getting flat and you dont even look like you had a baby, that never happens for me. I felt like well, if there is one thing that us moms who dont get to bring our babies home deserve, its not to have the signs of a post baby body to deal with! Needless to say, Kamari is now my second full term baby and our bodies definitely dont bounce back the same after the first. And having a c-section...well lets just say I wish they could have tucked some of that stretch out skin in when they stitched me up. I am a miracle, both of my babies are miracles, my body has betrayed me and also produced life, Im proud of her.
