Great article on the grizzly bear today. This majestic creature is one of the reasons we are fighting so hard to keep #JumboWild! The Jumbo Valley is critical core habitat to the grizzly bears of the Purcell Mountains. Any fragmentation would sever the ability of grizzlies to move south-north from the U.S. Cabinet Mountains to the Canadian Purcell and Selkirk Mountains. The Cabinet-Purcell Mountain Corridor is one of only two viable wildlife corridors where grizzlies can cross the border between the U.S. and Canada.
