Great, creative achievement does not require any more work than what you’re already doing. It merely requires different work. Instead of using your energy to make up excuses and rationalizations, you could be using that same energy to create new, unique value. Instead of using your efforts to reinforce your fears and feed your anxiety, you could be using your efforts to give your own beautiful, loving essence to all of life. Your history tells you to be afraid, but the thing is, the past is not where you are. It cannot hold you or frighten you unless you choose for it to.
