Great day In the (Brooklyn) Heights. Wonderful brunch with Glenn Gissler in his gorgeous apartment and magical terrace, then a walking tour of Brooklyn Heights. Reminds me a lot of Boston - if it had spectacular views of Manhattan! New car stereo (no one sniggered at the old one they removed with the CASSETTE DECK), but the salesman did tell me he was in 5th grade when we bought our car. Grrr. Welcome to the 21st century with blue tooth and LED disco lights (that was unexpected). I had to kill an hour. Who knew that the DSW in Brooklyn had better things than the one near us? Danger Zone - Varvatos and Klein - on deep markdown. My first up close look at the Barclay Center. No comment. It was a beautiful sunny day, but alas, as I motored home with the top down blasting "fun." it poured on me, which did cool things down till I could pull over and put the top up.
