Great day in Goliad! We met up with some other alpaca ranchers - Mr. and Mrs. Howe and their daughter. They have eight alpacas and are making good progress with their endeavor. We met another couple that is planning a retreat ranch. They are interested in some alpacas for educational purposes. A lady from Beeville bought two bags of alpaca fiber (batts) to hand spin into yarn. I think she is going to knit me a sweater so I can stay warm! Everyone received a tomato - our tomatoes are still popping - must be the paca poo. Thanks - Laura and Mike
