Great day of study and prayer as I prepare for the pulpit tomorrow. Were back in John 13---GREAT text tomorrow, I think the Lord has a word for us all to take the example of Christ and walk in Humility to God and others. To be mindful of one another, and serve one another. This is a great passage of scripture. It goes against the culture norm. The culture says: Love yourself----Jesus says: Love others The culture says: Serve your self-----Jesus says: Serve other The culture says: Esteem yourself; the Lord says “Examine yourself” The culture says: Fulfill yourself, the Lord says: Refuse yourself The culture says: Find yourself….Jesus says “Loose yourself” The culture says: Love yourself, believe in yourself, hug yourself, kiss yourself, The world and the church is all about “Self” ---Jesus says: Be about Others Hope to see you tomorrow, Ill tell you more! Pray for me, as I always pray for you
