Great day running the Black Warrior today. Didnt catch a lot of fish because I had to spend some time re-exploring some of my old haunts. Saw a lot of fracking wells. Quite a few have popped up in the past few years since U.S.S. started leasing the land above the Pennsylvanian Coal Outcrop. Dont seem to bother the fish, deer or turkeys. Saw a lot of them, too. Its a beautiful place. Say what you want about the commercial shipping and the underground mines, but its keeping the river valley wild and I love it.
