Great efforts were made this morning at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve, during the volunteer habitat restoration workday. Mary Ochsenschlager was the steward and provided leadership while also sharing her extensive knowledge to a well organized group. Seven volunteers worked in teams to locate, cut and stack invasive shrubs. The next restoration workday is Dec 27 from 9am-Noon. Come enjoy a morning out in the forest preserve, while meeting some new neighbors and helping beautify our community.
