Great memories of adieu Late Malam Mohammad Auwal, Director General Bauchi State Information and Communication Bureau. (ICT). Late Mohammed Auwal was described as exemplary leader in all aspect of administrative circles by almost every person that worked or came closed to him, In fact, I came across Late Malam ,when i was invited by the one of the ICT top management staff to served as an IT personnel around 2012, It was a good going,and tremendous experienced that also gave me a closed hand shakes with some top government officials whom were duly charged to implement E_Payment salary structure to Bauchi state civil servants. It was a great challenge to Governor Yuguda in attempt to get the problem minimized with ICT capacity building for all local government staff in state. In the process of conducting the project, Consultants were employed to Advocates, Visits all local government areas, did the Baseline Survey and conduct series of sensitization lectures with IT professionals that delivered ways, challenges and the key role of IT in governance to targeted audience and all stake holders in the financial institutions in the state. Today, Bauchi state has realized Information and Communication Technology at the most important mechanism that every society is grasping . As the IT is in its self everyday changing. Developed nations have since gone far in IT development. The essence of governments is not only to give job for citizens, but also to stimulate and or motivate them get other jobs apart from government jobs, and finally achieve the balanced economy without a part jeopardizing the other.
