Great message on family, Nate. I want to challenge the older part of that equation (the gray haired gang) to make out contributions to the family too. It is not time to put it in neutral and kick back to enjoy the self-focused retirement that our culture encourages. Roll up your sleeves and dig into your family with gusto. Be part of your children and their offsprings lives to the extent they permit. Babysit so they can have a night out, encourage them rather than criticizing, go to some of those game and concerts, be a foster-grandparent for those kids who have none etc., etc. Just ask God for direction on how you can be more a part of your extended famIly and then follow it.
