Great news for your weekend! Right now, the following is going on around the world through the work of SI: WEST AFRICA: A combined U.S. and Ghana team are In WAY north Ghana, the village area of Tumu, which is a heavily Muslim and near untouched area by the Gospel, Pastors have been gathered from the region and equipped for growth and leadership. Many have come to faith through the evangelism experience, and a new School of Multiplying Leaders has been launched for continued growth, multiplication, and church planting! SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA: A national team from Kanyama and Garden (2 compounds around Lusaka) are in Serenje holding a Leadership Thrust and launching a School of Multiplying Leaders. There has been such interest from the other side of Serenje, that they will be returning to help the pastors trained to hold a second LT and launch a second SML - near-immediate multiplication. Of course, as a part of their training, evangelism has taken place and many new souls have been added to the kingdom. Bishop Chirwa from Bauleni (also a compound near Lusaka) is again in the far easter portion of Zambia - a village called Lundazi. He is furthering the work he began 4 months ago, when he led an LT and launched the first generation of the SML there. Those pastors and leaders will be entering the second level of training and together with Chirwa, they will be adding another class to the school - the second generation of SML students. LATIN AMERICA: The national team from Venezuela is in Peru helping with multiplication (Peru has already expanded into Bolivia last year!) there within Lima. They next will head to a certain communist island nation where they will combine with a small U.S. team to officially launch the SI process through a Leadership Thrust and School of Multiplying Leaders in 2 different cities. Praise the Lord for His use of SI and our teams around the world in the expansion of His kingdom! We are so humbled and grateful to be a part of His plans and work!
