Great news on Boots today - this morning he was much brighter again and the vet was 99% sure that he had eaten the tiny amount of bikkies they had left in his bowl overnight (they had gone and couldnt be found anywhere in the cage) and that his temperature was coming back down again :) When she called again after lunchtime they had found he liked tuna better than chicken and he has happily eaten a few chunks (YIPPEE). One more night in hospital as they are waiting to see that ahem all functions are normal and his intestines are moving nicely. Actually she just called now with a last report for the day and he is doing really well. Hes up and moving about his cage (they put him in a bigger one yesterday) and drinking well so they will leave him with some food tonight and shell let us know in the morning if hes ready to come home :D
