Great news today for #TEAMMIA… The head Oncologist at PCH (Dr. Michael Etzl) said this about Mia today at her appointment, UNBELIEVABLE! First time weve heard this from a Dr. He said that with the massive tumor rupture, the massive amount of blood they had to remove from her brain and all the pressure on her brain stem… UNBELIEVABLE. He told us its takes kids years to be at this point. He hasnt seen anything. Last night I had her shuffling from side to side and touching the ground, back and forth (very quickly) without loosing her balance. She can spin 360 degrees on one foot without loosing her balance. I was trying to take her to fail last night and she didnt loose her balance one time. She was not supposed to be at school for most of the year but Dr. has cleared her to go back, at least for a few hours so she is VERY excited about this. Its been so amazing watching this miracle in progress. In less than 3 months she goes from almost dying to major brain surgery to being able to do 360 degree spins without falling… UNBELIEVABLE! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!!!
