Great performance by the team tonight. The back 5 looked fantastic and worked well together. Rose and Naughton have risen to the challenge and playing well. Think the kick up the arse for Jan has worked as he was superb tonight alongside Kaboul who played a captains game. Mason looked the part on his debut and got better and better as the game went on. Capoue partnered him well despite tiring near the end. Lamela had one of his best defensive games so far he tracked back superbly and his pass for the goal was fantastic. Chadli also had a great game taking the goal so calmly after an earlier miss and he too tracked back well. Eriksen played a vital part in our goal with his pressing but still needs time to get going so far this season. And Ade led the frontline well he ran across their back line and tracked back superbly when needed. Its still early days but tonight was a very good step towards what we need!
