Great question from an anonymous Fit Cops Fan! Lets help him out--- I work for a small agency in South Florida that has a mixture of younger and older officers. Im interested in implementing a voluntary fitness program where there would be some type of physical test once or twice a year. If passed, the rewards could be compensation, extra days off, etc. My question is if anyone has a similar program at their agency. If they do, what are the requirements and what are the benefits? Did they have any issues implementing the program with their union or administration? Im hoping to implement this to encourage our officers to get in better shape.
