Great review from Glasgow on Friday night. Cheers Gobo Photography! :) Big Boy Bloater & The Limits came to Glasgow town flamboyantly demonstrating in fine style a sensational night of Rhythm and Blues. The outfit are a mighty collective who are very much absorbed in the music they play, spreading their infectious grooves with great enjoyment as an fundamental adoration for music can be felt from all of their members during their live performances. I can totally understand how Big Boy Bloater has been given rave reviews all across the board, by the top names in music as he reigns high in a league of his own when it comes to his guitar playing skills and defining style. Their songs contain quirky enthralling lyrics with a rhythm and blues foundation of pure roots, a captivating blend from the outset. Notably Big Boy Bloaters energy is warm, fun and infectious as he spreads it out in massive portions over the room, once he opens up in full flight into a guitar solo it really captivates and mesmerizes the audience in such an awe inspiring way. The man Bloater shall be touring himself with his “one man show tour” from this month, right through all of December hitting mainly England, so if you missed him this time up here in Glasgow he shall be returning in March of next year to play Nice N Sleazy on Sauchiehall Street. I highly recommend you hear him play, he is one of the greatest of our time, no doubt about it. Big Boy Bloater & the Limits have a new album out now to be found on itunes on the following link bit.ly/vrE2BD and also keep an eye on their facebook page for forth coming tour dates https://facebook/thebigboybloaterpage I know we certainly will here at Gobo Photography.
