Great thanks to Roberts Garage Community Fund who have donated £1000 to go towards supporting families in Jersey who live every day with autism. It will help us purchase equipment including specialised car seats and sensory equipment to loan to families who may not be able to afford them or wish to test them before they buy. Our application was supported by this personal and moving video which we produced in April which giving an understanding from a parent’s perspective of having a child with autism. It is only 5 minutes long but the brave parents wanted to help people understand how autism affects their life every day and how support from Autism Jersey is vital to helping them cope.
