Great to see the Arts & Cratfs exhibition going up, includes items from our collection and work by modern arts & crafts practitioners. The exhbition opens Saturday 6th and coincides with a very busy month with Arts & Crafts events on every Saturday. These starts with what promises to be a fascinating talk by local expert Catherine Eyres at 11am at the Museum. Tickets only £2 are available now. On Saturday 13th Catherine will be following this up with a guided walk to see original Peasant arts buildings in Haslemere, starting 2.30pm at Haslemere station. On Sat 20th Sonia Percival is holding two workshops sessions at the Museum to make your own small textile wall hanging. Tickets for the sessions at 10-12 and 1-3 are limited and available now. On Saturday 27th there will be guided tour of St Christophers Church at 11am. Looks like being a great month! We have a very interesting book about our Peasant Art collection and some items featuring designs available in our shop
