Great trip to Pittsburgh last weekend to reconnect with my brother and his family. Took in the Steelers game, but got soaked, had to sit on planes that resembled medical clinics so on return developed a cold, but trip worth it. Such a great town, deeply forested, hills everywhere, fab residential areas. One cousin has Retts syndrome but others are great; Kennys sons are very successful. Just finishing Mark Leibovitchs This Town, about the networks in Washington DC; funny, acerbic, informative. Highly recommended! Dont let the public divisiveness fool you: these folks party together constantly, switch points of view depending on the money coming in, and, despite Obamas pledge to get rid of lobbyists, that scene is even worse. Too bad.
