Greater emotional freedom is about being mindful of NOT acting on - TopicsExpress

Greater emotional freedom is about being mindful of NOT acting on what our emotions are telling us to do when we’re angry. It’s been said that anger is a debilitating acid that does more harm to the individual in which it is stored than to anyone on, which it is poured. More times than not, battles won with anger are short lived and offset by the retaliation of a wounded loser. It’s more than a coincidence that the word danger is one letter away from anger. Here’s an axiom worthy of consideration: FOR me to be free of anger – requires GIVING up my need to get even. This is what it means to be FOR-GIVING. Practicing such is not for the faint of heart. It requires extraordinary courage ~Michael Cole
