Each year Social Research Policy and Practice recognizes a symposium that examines cutting edge issues with broad implications for policy or practice. Our symposium which examines the impacts and outcomes of The Green House model of nursing home care is a fitting tribute to Ollie Randall who tried to create services that were individualized and tailored to meet the diverse needs of elders.
